The Feel
Leios feels very different compared to many other shaving creams, which is an excellent thing. It spreads over your skin quickly and easily, and it doesn't feel heavy or obtrusive like many of the other shaving creams I have tried. Most of all, it is the only product that feels truly natural. All the store-bought options make me feel like I'm rubbing artificial chemicals all over my face. While I know they're technically safe, they leave me feeling unhealthy and unsatisfied. Switching to Leios has been a breath of fresh air. Every time I use it, I always think that I'm taking care of my skin the way I should.
The Shave
If I had to describe shaving with Leios in one word, it would definitely be "comfortable." During my first shave with Leios, I didn't have to think about what I was doing, and I honestly barely noticed that I was using shaving cream at all. My shave was quick, comfortable, and simple, exactly what I have always wanted from any shaving product.
The Aftermath
This is where Leios truly shines. I honestly didn't think that my skin would be much different after only one shave, but it was. The first thing that I noticed is that my shave was noticeably closer, which was honestly the most surprising part. I'm not sure if it was the difference in sickness or the fact that I was just more confident and comfortable, but either way, it was already a win for me. A few hours after my shave, I was ready to start seeing the skin redness and feeling the irritation that I usually do, but they never came. My skin felt smooth and healthy, and it appeared more vibrant. Despite this, I was still expecting to get breakouts within a few days. I've always had difficulty with acne since I was a kid, and even many prescription medications could never entirely eliminate it. Once again, Leios proved me wrong. I didn't break out after my first few shaves, and any acne that was already there was actually starting to heal. All in all, Leios was a massive win for me in terms of skincare.
The Scents
One of my least favorite parts of many other shaving creams or scented aftershaves is that even if the scent is good, it's usually overwhelming. For some of them, I felt like I sprayed an entire bottle of cologne up my nose. This was not at all the case for Leios. When I opened and used Leios for the first time, I definitely noticed the scent, but it was never obtrusive. It was pleasant and refreshing while I was shaving, but it gracefully faded away as I progressed through my day. This is precisely what I want when it comes to any scented skincare product, and Leios is the only option that achieves this to my liking."
